Hi all! Welcome to Day 2! Today was filled with the Sealife Centre, Madame Tussauds and a walk down Blackpool seafront. Quite a busy day overall, but it was fun!

Oh, I do like to be beside the sea!

First things first – Breakfast! I had breakfast included with the meal deal I booked with my hotel booking. I chose 08:30 for breakfast as I thought it wouldn’t be too busy, but to my surprise, the restaurant was pretty much full, and they had run out of many breakfast items. They did restock quickly, but there was a bit of a wait. Overall I enjoyed it! Here are a few pictures.

After breakfast, I should head to Blackpool for my day around the area. I parked in the central car park; it wasn’t too expensive, it was £8 for 5 hours, which should be enough for the day. It is undoubtedly cheaper than Chelmsford! I started with the Sealife Centre; now, this place is awesome! If you recall, I loved Sea World in Orlando as I have always loved sea life and what happens in the ocean. So I enjoyed the Sealife centre. Here are a few photos; I took much more than this, though!

Next up was Madame Tussaud. Now this place was fantastic! I have never had the opportunity to go to the one in London, so I was really excited to see this. The wax works were awesome. They are really close to life, and at times, they shocked me as I thought they were real! I was really impressed. I have to go to the London one soon! Here are a few pictures:

After that, I decided I wanted to take a walk down the seafront and explore more of Blackpool, and I was not disappointed; the seafront was really neat and tidy. It had a shopping centre and a few tac shops. It was awesome. I sat and chilled at the beach and just listened to the waves, which helped calm me down; it’s been a while since I could sit down and listen to the ocean. Here are a few photos.

Next, it’s time for lunch; granted, it isn’t the most expansive way to enjoy Blackpool, but I got a Mcdonald’s…I know, I know… I really should have found food from Blackpool; not something I can get every day! But I was hungry after a busy day on my feed! Here is what I got.

Mcdonald’s lunch… not the most exciting!!

For the rest of the afternoon, I wandered around Blackpool, grabbed a Starbucks and went to the beach. Overall I walked 10,500 steps and took over 200 photos which caused my battery on my phone to go down to 27%, so all in all, a good day! I returned to the hotel and listened to my audiobook before dinner; tonight, I had dinner at the same place as part of my meal deal. This is what I had.

Chicken and Mushroom pie, mash and peas.

And that is it for today! It’s been a busy day, but I really enjoyed it; I could destress and relax, which was nice. Tomorrow is my last day in Blackpool and my last attraction, Blackpool Tower, which should be excellent! See you tomorrow for my last day!
