Good morning all! So, we have approached the 30-day mark for my holiday with Mum to Florida!

Bags before they were packed!

I can’t believe it has come around so quickly! It feels like yesterday that I booked a surprise holiday for Mum. Since then I have been to Florida on my own and even a cheeky trip to Blackpool!

We are pretty much ready to go with getting Mum her cabin bag, which I think is awesome! It’s colourful and bright, just right for a Florida holiday! We have booked Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, with Sea World likely while out there.

I have about 15 shifts to go before Flordia and Mum has slightly less. It’s great to see Mum get excited as the days decrease!

This time around I will be packing slightly earlier on the 4th and 5th of September due to the last two of my shifts being on the 6th and 7th. I will of course double-check on Friday!

We are flying from Gatwick North terminal with TUI this time. Our flight leaves at 10:10 so a fairly early flight for us, the good thing assuming all goes well is we will have an afternoon in Orlando to enjoy!

We are staying at a hotel at Gatwick the night before, we are staying at Hampton by Hilton which is directly on Gatwick’s north terminal meaning it will be a short walk to the terminal which will make our lives easier.

We also have fast-track security which will make our experience a little less stressful, it is at 08:00 so we will need to be up fairly early to get there in time!

For the flight, I plan on reading a book! As you might have not realised lately I have been wanting to read more and thought I would start with Brandon Sanderson’s secret project! Of course, I will get some Netflix to download too!

The two books I am going to try and read while on holiday!

So that’s it, for now, a brief update on our plans! I will of course write a few more blogs over the coming weeks! See you then!
