IanHi all! Today marked my birthday! For those who didn’t know, I turned 38 today! My day consisted of relaxing around the resort and heading to City Walk for my birthday meal, so a shorter-than-normal blog today! It also saw the Starbucks (USA) Christmas range release coming out!
This is the first time I have actually had my birthday away from home! It felt weird but awesome at the same time, too! Here is a quick blog from this morning:
Once Mum got up and we got changed, we headed to the onsite Starbucks to try the new Christmas drinks! Their menu is entirely different from that of the UK! I had a peppermint mocha, and Mum had a caramel Brulee; they were awesome! I plan on trying all of them before we go back to our boring menu!!
Once we had finished, we headed back to the hotel. Mum wanted to spend time around the pool, so I chilled in the room. It was perfect! Next up, we headed over to City Walk for my birthday dinner. We went to an Italian restaurant, and it was awesome!
This place was fantastic! I loved all the food they did here, and the server was really nice, too! We both ended up having the Bolognese, and for pudding, I had a flourless chocolate cake with raspberry, and Mum had a tiramisu. Here are some pictures of our food:
We were both filled up and had excellent service; I recommend attending this restaurant if possible! After that, we headed back to the hotel and retired for the night!
And just like that, my birthday was over! I am about to hit the sack! So, thank you all for my birthday wishes, and tomorrow, we are heading to Magic Kingdom for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas event, which starts at 1900. It should be a great evening! Tomorrow morning will be a chill morning unless we can find something to do! So speak to you tomorrow!
