Good evening, all! After yesterday’s travel day, Day 2 has come and gone already. Crazy how time flies! Today was a rest day, so we decided to have a look around Seville, visit the local shopping centre and grab some shopping for our stay this week.

Breakfast at the hotel
Unfortunately, I didn’t sleep as well as I’d hoped last night. I think it’s because it’s a new place, and perhaps I was overtired! Anyway, Day 2 arrived, and it was breakfast time.
My friend and I headed down to breakfast at the Hesperia Sevilla. There were some good choices, but not quite as many as we’d hoped. We had a better selection overall in Malta, but it was still nice. Once we’d eaten, we got ready for a walk around Seville and a trip to the shopping centre.

Exploring Nervión Plaza
It was time for a little walk around Seville, heading over to Nervión Plaza, the shopping centre near Sevilla FC’s stadium. It’s a colourful little shopping centre, with lots of well-known brands, some of which we recognised from back home. The walk there was nice too, and we spent a while exploring. Here are a few pictures!

I ended up walking around 11,000 steps, which is crazy, and my feet were hurting by the end of it! I dread to think what the rest of the week will be like!
Lunch
For lunch, we stopped at Burger King, as it had a vegan option for my friend. We’d searched around the shopping centre and didn’t find much on the vegan front, which was a shame. Still, we both enjoyed our food!

After lunch, we carried on exploring the local area, which was nice to see, before heading back to the hotel to rest for the evening. A good day overall!
Tomorrow: Day 3
Tomorrow, we’re heading to the Royal Alcázar of Seville and the cathedral, the first of our booked trips, so it’s another packed day!
Hopefully, I’ll get some better sleep tonight and feel a bit fresher tomorrow. Make sure you follow along and join me for Day 3!
